Also, you may want to rest that sling in a safe place. It looks like it could be original WWI issue. It will have a maker stamp like G&K (I think) and the year stamped near the brass frog. If it's that old it may not last under heavy use. If it's marked and WWI production, I'm not saying sell it, but it does have some value and you may want to put a recent production military sling on it.
