Can anyone tell me what this old rifle is ? i have an opportunity to buy this old rifle . I appears to be very similar to the Krag . The owner inherited it and has no info on it and I can't find anything on the net . Thanks .

Sounds like it is probably a Danish Krag. Does the sidebox have a round knob release on top? Can you send photos? Then I could tell you much more about it, like rifle or carbine, model, uncut, etc.
