Just heard that Bannerman's Island Sunk into the Hudson river!! Apparently a huge sink hole opened up and swallowed it!!

Could have been a hoax, April Fools Day and all.  I heard it on the radio down here as we were driving across a bridge, and told Ned.  I looked to see, but didn't get a good view, but it did look like the island was different.  Probably because part of the main wall and north tower had fallen this winter, during the heavy snow and wind storms.  So, the "skyline" of the island look much different now.   I had not been that way and seen it since the recent collapses.

So, as far as I know the island is still there, and much of the castle.  But, unfortunately, parts of it have fallen recently.  People should really go tour the island while most of the castle and other buildings still stand.
