It is a norwegian Krag/Jørgensen M1894, produced by Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk as all except for a few during 1896-97 that were built by Steyr. Used by the norwegian army until ww2, later sold out to sivilians that have them for huntig and sport/target shooting.
Few left in pure original state. Original state in US in good condition sold for up to $2000, sporterized bellow 1000. The most of the history about it found on Wikipedia, linked to in a earlier replay. |
