I recently found out that my grandfather has an 1894 Springfield Armory. The serial number is 6634. It was his father's before he got it. Anyway, unfortunately the stock was broken long ago and replaced with a carbine stock. i was wondering if someone could tell me what i would need to restore it back to original. i'm not concerned about resale value, as this will stay in our family for as long as possible. i just want to return it to its original condition for my grandfather.
