The measurements Cody gave don't jive with the picture.  It definitely appears the Krag in the picture has a cut-down rifle stock.  However, the barrel appears to be carbine length.  With a Krag rifle stock, the dimension from the rear of the receiver ring to the front of the barrel band is about 10 inches.  The rifle pictured has more barrel length in front of the barrel band than behind. (Not likely this barrel is only 20 1/2 inches long). Also, the picture showing the front sight base looks like the barrel is re-blued but the front sight base is correct.
