Making each one unique. As for originality, everything but the stock and barrel on yours is factory, the stock is original but cut, and the barrel is original but cut.

Over all, they are fantastic rifles with unmatched craftsmanship. In the 18 deer seasons i have behind my Krag, I have never had a mechanical problem. I prefer it to any other deer rifle I own.
