Is there a way to check if the cut off is working on a Krag rifle /carbine without using ammo in the magazine?
Iam familiar with the cut offs on the 1903 Springfield , and early Enfields ( I know they  are different animals) but with their  cut off on you cannot push down the follower with your finger .
An easy way to check the working condition of the cut off on a Krag would be great prior to a purchase in a gun show situation .
