Hi Jim,
I will give it a try after work. I just cannot feel or see any shaft on the inner wall of the side plate even with the loading door open. I will read over the method of taking out the bolt a few times.The extractor is new to me based on my 1917,M1 , 1903 and Enfield Iam new to the Krag world . I plan to post a few pics of my 1894 rifle and 1896 carbine. Thank you for the help. Dave |
