Hi Parashooter,
Your picture is great. It clears everything up! When my 1894 rifle and 1896 carbine has the cutoff knob in the down position ,I can see the cut off shaft behind a plate in the receiver. Placing the cut off knob in the up position retracts the shaft.Therefore when in the up position the cut off would be retracted (off) and the magazine would be allowed to feed ammo into the breach? correct? Thank you very much for your help. Dave :) |
