Please read all of this before tear down!!!
on the sling swivel is a screw, remove the screw to take the barrel band off. It may be a little rough to move, just try wiggling a bit and it should slide right off.(NOTE^^ if there is a letter U on your barrel band it should be on the same side of the rifle as the magazine door when reassembling) after that, there are 2 screws on the trigger guard, the rear is longer, so it shouldnt be difficult to reassemble. after that is compete, the reciever assy. and barrel should come off the stock after a bit of wiggling. At this point the trigger guard can be removed from the stock as well. If you point the action and barrel "down range" open the bolt, there is a long ejector arm on top of the bolt, with a bit of muscle, lift it a bit and slide it to the right. The bolt should at that point spin a bit further counter clockwise, it will line the locking block up with the opening, the bolt should slide right out. (NOTE^^ some people prefer to take the bolt out before removing the stock) On reverse side of the magazine door there is a screw, remove the screw and the opposing door can be removed (screw is found on the same side as the model and serial #) I use an unsharpend pencil to push the door off from inside the action, it wont damage the metal that way. Never had a reason to remove my magazine door yet, as well as tear down the bolt, or remove the trigger. to reassemble, pretty much just reverse these instructions. that should get you started. good luck |
