My first hunting rifle was a Krag Carbine and the bolt has "Keen Kutter" engraved on it.  The engraving is very professional and I was wondering if anyone knew how or why this was done.  I'm guessing it wasn't just someone that really liked "Keen Kutter" because the consistency makes me believe it was a production engraving.  Does anyone know if Keen Kutter rebuilt/distributed Krags at one time?  Sorry for no picture.  The rifle is an hour away at my parent's house.  I'll get a pic within the next week.
