Do the SRS lists say about "Model 1896" Carbine, SN 67779 ?

That number doesn't show up in my version of SRS, but #67724 and #67784 were with the US 6th Cavalry in 1900.

Which pretty much guarantees that 67779 wasn't.

Thanks for the research. With the 1895 and 1896 carbines, we all know that it is "either" hit or miss !
