Title: First of the 2 Krag sporters I picked up

By its serial number its a 1901.   Decent bore and the metal work was done by somebody who new what they were doing.  Lyman peep.  If it shoots as well as it looks I will be a happy guy.   I still have to load up some rounds for it.  Anyone have a bullet mold they like for cast?

I like the Lee 200 grain gas-check.  Slug your barrel to determine exactly what the bore is and order your mold .001" larger.  I cast mine from wheelweights quenched in water.  Pushed down the barrel by 16 grains of Aliant 2400 is a very accurate and mild load in my '98.
