Title: Early Krag pocket oiler? Post by Robert_L on Feb 12th, 2012 at 4:24pm
Anyone want to give me a sanity check on this eBAY listing? This looks like an SKS oiler probably out of Yugoslavia, to me.
Item number: 120858308818 I checked Mr. Otoupalik's web site and sure enough he has one listed there as a Krag oiler but someone's mistaken. If I'm wrong I stand to be corrected. What say you authorities? Robert L |

Title: Re: Early Krag pocket oiler? Post by 5MadFarmers on Feb 12th, 2012 at 4:49pm You would be correct. The great bulk of those are Yugoslavian. They copied it from a German design and every once in a while a German one appears. The Krag pocket oiler is silver in color and has a dip stick. (You need to Login The "refill" can Mook had is another story altogether. Those, unlike the pocket oiler, can be found. (You need to Login "Two cans" Toucan Get it? Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Try the fish. |

Well, the auction closed today. Final bid on this oiler was $192.00 If the buyer had only done a search on eBAY for similar items he could have gotten the same thing for under $20. Of course it would be an SKS oiler and not a real Krag pocket oiler.
