New member here and new to the Krag world  :)

I bought this Krag a few months ago on a whim and found this great forum upon doing research.

I bought it as a shooter and do not have much coin invested so if its not a real carbine my feeling won't get hurt  ;)

With that said, I know the rear sight is a rifle sight and it does fall in the carbine serial range (74xxx)

Original JSA cartouche is prominent along with the circle P behind the trigger guard.

It came with 2 original cleaning rods in the butt trap ( I read somewhere that carbines were only issued with 2 )
