I purchased an 1896 Krag several years ago and the rifle came with a bayonet in the scabbard.� The bayonet looks like they made it yesterday the steel is shiny and stamped US on one side and 1896 on the other.� The scabbard has a steel loop that only swings 45 degrees left and right of center.� Is this correct for this rifle?
