I'm not sure about WWII... but I think it's doubtful beyond training purposes.  There are other - more qualified than I - who could give a better answer than I did.  As for WWI, there were some Krags that made it to Europe, but I believe that was mostly for garrison duty by National Guard units.  My 1898 rifle is one of these!
