New member.
Bought a sporterized Krag at a gun show last month and dropped it off at a gunsmith for checkout this week.

I saw the reference to mounting rails from kraghaus in the classified section.
Has anybody had any experience with them ?
I tried the search function but didn't get any hits.

My Krag came with scope bases installed but I'm thinking about trying a reflex sight and that would call for some kind of rail. The short kraghaus rail would mean no additional holes being drilled in a 100 year old barrel - and that doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I have one of the short mounts with a long eye relief scope on one of my sporters and so far it has worked quite well.
