There appears to be no signs of filing or machining. I think the wear and color match up pretty well.
And the widths are correct. If and when I go to swap this sight I just didn't want to take someone or be taken. I really didn't pay that much attention to the sight when I was purchasing the rifle. Used to seeing rifle sights on fake carbines but not carbine sights on a rifle. That just makes it a little better of a deal. Got a Kerr No-BuckL sling with it also. And from what I've read so far, the light loaded cast bullets aren't going to come close to matching ladder range graduations anyhow......... Thanks, Bob |
