They'd both seem to be OK, each has some very minor annoyances, like buggered off-color sight screws, and a hand-filed front blade on the GB, but I don't see any major issues at all. That said, IMHO, the GB is much the better buy - the crack can be glued, and the bolt notch and HG aren't wrecked like on the AA. I am naturally biased towards GB as I really cannot stand the "ambience" at AA. I have no idea how they stay in business. Should ask the GB guy how many rod holes in the butt. Just MIGHT be only two, since it (correctly) is a thin-wrist. if so, that's very rare.
