This is a fantastic family heirloom!!

That is too bad about the stock. My local gunsmith is amazing with stock work and could epoxy it and make that crack disappear. He has done a few more my brother and myself over the years. The problem is that we are in New York state.

Maybe you can find a gunsmith closer to you that can help you out.
