Welcome to KCA. Don't fret the stock is repairable and easy for someone that works with wood or a gunsmith, but vet anyone you let work on this weapon. I've made similar repairs with cracked and broken stocks. If I were you I'd wrap it to stabilize it until it is repaired. Very nice history of this weapon. Please pics of your family with the Krag.
