I recently purchased my first Krag. Cartouche is 1903 and I believe it to be correct for the serial number of the rifle. Anyone know what the markings are on the stock left side?

I'll take a stab at this Charlie 2nd Platoon Rifle 27. This is the 1st thing that hit me when I saw it. Oh welcome here These guys are sharp on Krags.
