With the assistance of three men more knowledgeable than yours truly, I have been writing about Willard Milton Farrow, the elder.  One of the other men just sent me some photos of the pages of Shooting and Fishing magazine.  This one is from the fall of 1903.
Farrow was 55 years old when he shot a score of 48 out of 50 with a Krag, using issue GI ammunition, winning the 1,000 yard match at a DC range.  His son, WMF, Jr., finished in 2nd place with a 41.
