Title: Re: Krag Accuracy Post by bote on Feb 10th, 2017 at 10:22pm
Had the Krag out a couple of times last weekend and it shot really well. I tried loosening the front barrel band and maybe that helped. Or it possibly could have been that I had bright sunshine and was just seeing the sights better. The day I first used the sling was dark and overcast. Any, it did great on everything except offhand. She is a sweet rifle but that long barrel takes a little getting used to. I practiced loading and rapidfire with my sexy speedloaders. Took my new Eddystone 1917 out for the first time but I'm afraid she has a headspace issue. Looks like about 20 thou short which would be about right if the barrel was installed without being reamed. My buddys going to loan me his pull through reamer.
