So, up in Maine for a class.  Stopped in a gun store and found an 1898 Krag with faint 1902 cartouche (faint in that the wood was refinished and shiny finish just about filled in the cartouche).  Butt stock was shined up to remove rust/patina.  >:(

1902 rear sight, bore looks good and bolt locks up solid.

Worth $675 plus shipping and transfer?  The debate is, do I need another Krag?  I know, answer is obvious...... ;D
