Just curious if anybody has bought a Boyd's reproduction Krag carbine stock in the last few months. If so, are they still terrible or has there been an improvement in quality / inletting?

On a side note, does anybody have either a Boyd's carbine stock they longer need / want or a cut down rifle stock (cut forward of the lower band) they want to part with?

Thinking about cleaning up my dad's sporter and making it look more military like and less sporter.
