Title: Camp Perry loads Post by madsenshooter on Jul 27th, 2017 at 7:51pm
I'd like to hear from the members about their Camp Perry loads. I was using Nosler 168BTHPs over 34.5gr of 3031. I had some extras loaded, just in case a boat cruised into the impact area as they sometimes do. I'd like to get out to shoot those 15 at 100. I'm also wondering if any of the members were shooting cast bullets.

I was running Sierra 220 round nose over 40 grains of IMR 4350. It shoots good from the bench.

I got out today with the extras I had loaded. I can't blame the load for my lowered score, though I also can't say much about a 4 moa load. I was shooting off the bench @100yds, and I could see because I siliconed the clear lens onto the front of the sunglasses. Good focus on the front sight. I think I could do better with the throat fitting 190gr cast spitzers @ 2100-2200. But I have a year to work on it!
