I think the styer factory produced norwegian krags the first 3-4 years, before the production at kongsberg began.I`m no krag expert, but I live in the krag`s "home country" norway.I`ve never heard of steyer krags made after 1898.The krag was much used in norway until the 1990`s as a target competition rifle before the sauer 200 scandinavian target rifle(wery identical with the SIG SSG3000).The steyer krag`s have been concidered the "top of the line" krag actions much because of their silk smooth bolt cycling.I think all of the stomperud krags (about 900 produced) is marked with the german nazi-stamp(eagle with wings out sitting on a nazi-cross).
