waterman:� Pretty amazing experiment.� He didn't mention where the striker, bolt innards, and extractor ended up.� It's nice to know the bolt handle and the bolt rib give us some insurance the bolt-body will stay put.� I wonder if he is listing the parts on eBay or GunBroker?

Amazing information! Just goes to show what us Krag enthusiasts always knew... that the 30-40 Krag is an incredibly well designed weapon, and given a bad reputation and a short lifespan... and not the respect it really deserves!
