That's a mighty beautiful Krag - Well Done!
I'm no expert, but my guess would be that the rifle was arsenal serviced sometime before WW1, and then never re-issued. Many Krags spent time in England and France in rear echelon duty during the Great War. Perhaps some of the more knowledgeable members here will know more... Did you find anything in the butt trap? |
