Here is the current state of the project, thanks to the kindness of the Krag Collectors Association....
Remaining items, repair the stock which is duffle-cut, but is very tight without the repar.
Find a cheap cleaning rod.
Find a cheap original sling. ( hey, I can dream! )

I will probably take it out for a test-run in the next few weeks and see if the stock holds up.
I am anxious to shoot it, but it is a little cold at the moment...

We'll see how it goes. I have some 6.5 I loaded for my Swedes that ranges from 1,500fps to around 2,200, which should be placid enough to start with.
I also have some lead loads that range from 1,000 to 1,400. I think I will try the jacketed rounds first.
