Title: Medicine for Juarmentados
Post by butlersrangers on Feb 18th, 2016 at 4:48pm
I picked up this used S.A.A., quite cheap, at my local gun shop the other day.

Don't get too excited, it's a Cimarron/Uberti repro - U. S. Artillery Model, with 'antique finish', circa 1998.

It will be fun at the next Range Session, when I run out of .30-40 and .45-70 reloads. I like the veteran look (and it is nicely tuned)!

Between 1895 and 1903, nearly 17,000 government S.A.A. revolvers were reconditioned by Springfield Armory and the Colt factory. Many of the Army revolvers had their barrels shortened to 5 1/2 inches and saw use in the 'Spanish War' and Philippine campaigns.
