The Krag Ejector fits into a recess in the receiver below the bolt.
The Ejector's 'pivot pin' enters the receiver from the left. Its hole is covered by the side-plate. The 'slotted' end of the pin is exposed, until covered by the side-plate. (A hole in the plate allows the pin to project a bit).
