Krag shooters were left to the tail end of the CMP matches at Camp Perry in 2017 and still had almost 100 target shooters on the 200 Yard Line. But many shooters had packed and headed home before the Roosevelt match.

Good news for 2018! The new National Match calendar is out and available on the CMP web site. We get to shoot first! Then the popular sniper rifle match on the same range on the same afternoon, then then the Vintage and Springfield matches.

So there will be more shooting over fewer days. And more vintage rifle shooters staying to shoot guns with wood stocks.
