Title: 1898 Rifle
Post by HeyJoe on Sep 7th, 2017 at 6:29pm
Serial nr 207367 would appreciate a SRS check.  It's in great condition except the cartouche is gone.  Had it for years.  Bore is perfect, shoots accurately with no more copper fouling than a new rifle.  Hope the pictures work;  more fun to shoot Krags than work the computer.

Nice looking model 1898 Krag.

There is no SRS hit on #207367.

It is bracketed between #207329 (1899 Co. B 42nd USV Inf.) and #207399 (02-05-01 Co. E 41st USV Inf.).

Springfield Research Service.  It's a listing of known serial numbers records.  But...  records for Krags are pretty scarce, and hits are far and few between.
