It would be nice if the KCA site had "Stickies" regarding frequently asked subjects, like Krag screw-threads.
(I feel, I respond to some FAQs too often and leave many members tired of hearing from me).
FWIW - Based on my attempts at measuring and Frankford Arsenal tap and die set (1902) data, provided by '5MadFarmers long ago:
Krag rear-sight mounting screws appear to measure .156"X 30 TPI.
Krag side-plate, middle & stacking swivel screws are .187"X 26 TPI.
The arsenal sets had taps and dies for 'United States Form Special" and "W.& S. Standard", (if someone can explain further).
S&S has reproduction screws that work with original parts. You would be well advised to call them and ask if they have something for Criterion barrel sight hole threads.
