Pictures don't tell what bore condition is. Kind of funny how that gets glossed over these days.

Yelp, excellent point.
The first Krag I bought had a "pretty good bore" according to the seller. I guess it's all in the definition, ha! It looked more like a sewer pipe to me. It wouldn't hold the target at 25 yds and key holed. After a new Criterion and a 1902 rear sight it shoots really good. My second Krag was spot-on in description. Vic |

Some would call it rough... but in my opinion, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I want to beholding a few more Krags! This one just shows it's battle scars and patina. As Chuck said, the bore tells the story. The handguard does need to be swapped out, which is a shame considering the finish matches.

The price has been reduced to $500 shipped. The seller says good rifling with some pitting. Just FYI.
