Wow, $600!  Looks a little rough to me.

Pictures don't tell what bore condition is. Kind of funny how that gets glossed over these days.

Yelp, excellent point.
The first Krag I bought had a "pretty good bore" according to the seller.  I guess it's all in the definition, ha!  It looked more like a sewer pipe to me.  It wouldn't hold the target at 25 yds and key holed.  After a new Criterion and a 1902 rear sight it shoots really good.
My second Krag was spot-on in description.

Some would call it rough... but in my opinion, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I want to beholding a few more Krags!  This one just shows it's battle scars and patina.  As Chuck said, the bore tells the story.  The handguard does need to be swapped out, which is a shame considering the finish matches.

The price has been reduced to $500 shipped.  The seller says good rifling with some pitting.  Just FYI.
