For the newer KCA members/Krag rookies.
The 1903 Springfield had some features that were quickly discarded. This resulted in some surplus/obsolete parts being available that were useful in the repair of damaged 1902 Krag rear-sights. These 'hybrid' combinations can appear on Krags, with 1902 sights, that were 'refurbished' prior to WW1.
1. Locking-Knob 'dished' for .30-03 rimless cartridge.
2. 1903 Leaf (shown with a Springfield prototype base).
3. & 4. 1903 Leaf detail showing 'cross-hatch' serrations and 25 yard graduations.
