If anyone currently contributes posts to the Gunboards Forum, I need your help in contacting the Administrator.

For the past month, I have been unable to post anything, new or simple replies to threads, on Gunboards.

I am unable to even contact or alert the Administrator.

There is simply no 'frame or box' to type a message in. This includes PM messages.

I have enjoyed Gunboards, but, cannot alert them of continued problem.

I don't post often, but I had a post a couple of weeks ago.  I looked this morning after your message, and I seem to be able to navigate normally.  I checked one (only one, please) 'reply' box and seemed to get a normal box.  I noticed that they had a lot of trouble earlier this month which seems to be under control now (?).  I wonder if your computer picked up a 'bug' while the problems were going on.  Not being a systems guy, I don't know what to try, but if possible, I would see if you can log in and navigate from another computer.

I'll try the forum again in a couple of days, but in the meantime, let me know if you want me to do anything in particular to test ideas.

You might try a different browser. The problem described sounds like script-handling. Another browser, with different script settings, might help.

I tried with success at Gunboards using Firefox 52.5 on Windows OS just now, so it's apparently not a server-side problem.

Could someone let the Gunboards administrator know 'butlersrangers' cannot make any new posts because "no box appears to type in". I've tried everything I can think of. No luck with Desk Top or Tablet.

Hoot - I received an email from Gunboards Administrator, Niall Barrett.

He advised I 'dump cookies', so I changed the setting that preserved 'cookies' on my "Favorites".

That seems to have done the trick. I can now post again on Gunboards.
