Maybe the story went something like this:

"Thank goodness Bob was able to avoid getting between a mother bear and her cubs, while walking to the bathroom in the dark of the night, because he had fresh Winchester batteries in his trusty flashlight".

Bob was never seen again, but, the bite marks on his Flashlight suggested he fell victim to a large Omnivore.

"Being rabidly anti-gun, Bob's attempt to scare off the bear with flashing lights did not end well."

Bob doesn't often encounter bears... but when he does, he trusts Winchester batteries!  (Maybe he would have been better to trust Winchester rifles, LOL)

Steve wondered why the bear scat he saw in the woods contained Winchester batteries.

Wonder if Bob had fresh Winchester batteries in his flashlight?

This 1904 ad always makes me cringe. (It's like she's intent on proving 'Papa' wrong). What kind of messages is that 'doll' telling her?

Too much 'Twilight Zone' and 'Night Gallery', Chuck!

I don't know if this child is possessed by demons or about to fart silently in a crowded cafeteria (or both).

Actually, I think it's a little of both!  That kid scares me a little...

I sure wouldn't trust him with an Iver Johnson, nor even, a pointed stick! (There we go, profiling again).

Maybe, there is a high Lead content in the soldered seams of that early bean can!

The Far Side cartoon with bear is one of my all time favorites.  There are so many things just not right with it.

Last night before my wife and I went to bed we heard strange sounds coming from the kitchen.  Grabbing the flashlight, that I keep on the bedside book case, I decided to investigate the matter.

Before heading down to the kitchen I attached my trusty Winchester flashlight (with fresh batteries) and bayonet to my Model 1899 carbine.

I attached the flashlight and bayonet using the Ducatinney Tactical D-mod rifle mounting system I ordered from Bubbahaus  INC.

I find the Springfield Krag Carbine is the perfect home defense weapon and I like the idea of having a bayonet handy just-in-case I run out of bullets.

It wasn't long before the light beam from my trusty Winchester flashlight, w/fresh batteries, illuminated the intruder!!!

Oh bother!...

I dealt with the home invasion perpetrator accordingly and had the pesky critter stuffed with fluff and placed in my granddaughter's crib along with all the other unfortunates who have found themselves on the receiving end of a Krag .30-40 bullet or bayonet!

Shooooot.  What you need is a M1917 and a bayonet.  Good medicine for those uppity critters sneaking into liquer cabinets

Duct Tape kind of 'bayonet lug' on a roll!

Hey, where's Piglet? ....He's out there lurking! I'd be vigilant if I were you!

Here's another fine Bubbahaus product!

It's the Bubba Black Ops Tactical Mounting System.

Used for combining dissimilar weapon systems quickly and efficiently... Like this 1908 Brazilian Mauser barrel to a 1903A3 stock.

... Or this Bubbahaus exclusive... The Delta Force Forearm Pistol Grip Illumination System (fresh batteries not included).

I have a flashlight like that that I saved from my military days.  Hmmmmmm...  Maybe a good Bubbahaus idea for the low-light first shots at the Roosevelt Match!  With the right ingenuity, it could double as a monopod too!

A carbide Miner's Lamp would be more period correct and you could also 'blacken' sights with it!

That's the cleaned up version Local Boy. Here's the rest of the story:
After 3 days at hunt camp Bob was miserable. He was not his "regular" self. About 3 am he felt the rumbling stirrings in his bowels and made a move to the outhouse. As he opened the cabin door he heard a low growl and flipped on his flashlight with new "Winchester" batteries.
To this day Bob praises the bear for curing his constipation issue.
No...he didn't make it to the outhouse and his hunting buddies no longer allow him to sleep in the cabin.

I don't recall anyone wearing traditional pajamas at Hunting Camp .... and Bob's story about the BEAR, would hardly be believed.

Sounds like a trumped up face saving excuse of someone who got caught short!

This detached label was recently found in the Michigan woods, near a pile of Bear droppings.

A short distance away were the shredded remains of a pair of men's pajamas.
