'Local Boy' - As always, thank you for your generous sharing. It is always neat to see and preserve original, unpublished, photographs.

BTW - A lot of original photos were mounted on a 'backing card' that had 'postcard-like' printing. This makes them appear (to us) to be Post Cards, but, they really are original prints.

I think, in the old days, a lot of photographs were mailed to relatives in order to stay in touch. Actual photo prints, with addresses or residue from shipping labels on the back, are common in my family album.

IMHO - At one time, it was the practice for people to mail lightly protected or unprotected photos, as if, they were postcards.
