I just cut and faced my krag/scout bbl down to 19 inches. My first attempt on a ctr fire rifle bbl. Have done 22s and sg bbls. Also put my first coat of Truoil on the brown stock, drank it right up. Let's see what it looks like when it dries. Need to blue the cut muzzle too.
With two coats of Truoil the stock is looking alot better. I'll keep coating and 000 steel wooling until it's done.
Two more coats done. Blued the muzzle. Looks good.
Not satisfied with the stock just yet though.
