Title: Model 1894 Norwegian Krag Civilian Issue
Post by qwkspirit on Mar 12th, 2018 at 12:50am
Hello All-
Forgive me if this question has been addressed in a previous thread.  I recently purchased a 1905 manufactured Norwegian Krag.  I was a little confused by the low serial number on mine since the date was 1905.  With a little research I found the link with info about Civilian Issued Krags.  This was new to me, and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with these rifles and why there is almost zero info.  Mine is in very good condition and has all five numbers of the serial number on all parts of the Rifle.  All the wood is amazingly intact and not damaged except normal dings here and there.
I would welcome any info and advice on this 113 year old rifle.
qwk--
