Title: Assembling 1903 Springfields during WW1

This neat photo was apparently published by the N.Y. Times, during WW1.

I suspect the first elderly workman might be Joseph Sumner Adams. He came out of retirement and was working at the Armory during the war.

We should all begin a process to have Chuck's hard drive declared a National Treasure.  Maybe we should also extend the designation to the man, himself.

Hey Chuck, we should do some shooting together this spring (if spring ever gets to Michigan).
