Model 1892 Bolt-Sleeve, 'high or low' pin model 1892 Safety, and a '96/'98 type extractor, retained with '92 screw, (instead of pin), the bolt is likely 1898/99 type with a 'knob-less' striker-rod. The whole assembly is quite a mix-master and not something Springfield Armory would do!

$75.00 of parts for under $400. Buy Now, Mark!

(Please God, protect new collectors from ignorant or 'shyster' sellers. Krags be tricky)!

p.s. It is now believed that the (short-lived) 'knob-less' Cocking Piece was put on model 1898 rifles, as well as, model 1899 carbines. It was tried as an economy move, but, proved to be more expensive to make than the 'knob' version.
