I need to move to the 100 yard Range and get away from the Bench. (The Sportsmen's Club, I belong to doesn't have a 200 yard range).

This 170 grain load was just a fun experiment. Next efforts will be with 180 grain RN projectiles and ultimately a trial of 220 grain loads.

Once I have a good & economical 'go to' target round, I plan to test four full-length Krag rifles to see which one has the most inherent accuracy for Match Shooting.

I am attracted to 162 to 180 grain jacketed-projectiles as an easy way to increase velocity and keep pressures down.

I need to put more effort into plinking and practicing position shooting with 'cast' bullets.

It's just too much fun playing around with parts guns and 'cut-down hunting Krags'. 50 yards is easier on old eyes with iron sights.
