That is an interesting Range and Backstop. Is it in an old limestone quarry?
What is the maximum range? |

Nice rifles, nice photos. A model 8 or 81 Remington is on my want list. I need to get my Krag to the range. Haven't fired it in a while.

Last month I found this customized 1898 Krag. I originally spotted it in April and told the fellow if he was going to sell it contact me.
No one in the family was interested. I found that it shot 3 feet high at 100 yards with my 200 grain cast bullets. Used the aperture on the ladder and was hitting the 200 yard plates at 200 yards without a sight adjustment. Sometimes you are lucky! |

Nice carbine and bullets Elfego Baca!
I, myself, hope to be ringing in the New Year by nailing steel targets at 200 yards. As soon as I get set up to reload 30-40 ammo. BTW: Elfego Baca was an interesting individual. A true self-made-man. |
