Title: Greetings and Introduction Post by kragkrazy on Nov 28th, 2018 at 7:08pm
Hello fellow Krag lovers.
I just wanted to drop a line to introduce myself and say thank you to all who run and contribute to this forum. I have been a Krag distant admirer for some time. I have always wanted to add one to my collection, but rising costs (and depleting toy funds re:college costs) have prevented that. Recently I had a chance to purchase a barreled action at a price I could afford. Thinking I could find a stock easily; HOW NAIVE of me! Yes I'm new to this, yes this is my VERY FIRST KRAG! I'd like to post a few pictures and get some advice; what do I have, what is it worth, how do I get it back together, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, where can I find a stock ASAP! Thank you all! -Rob |

Welcome to the forum KragKrazy… and to the wonderful world of Krags! Careful, Krags tend to multiply when you're not looking!

Rob,
Is the barreled action you purchased a Model 1896 or Model 1898? Tom |
